Subject: 54.5 Incher Caught out of Kinkaid Last December?

Location: Alsip, Il		I just received my InFisherman magazine and in their Master Catch and Release Awards on page 109 for Region 1 they have for second place a 54.5 inch released muskie on 12/02/05 caught at Kinkaid Lake by Carl Zavorka. I thought wow that guy released almost for sure a sate record!!!! Unfortunately there was no picture printed. Did anyone of you hear of this fish? Thanks, Al

Location: So. Illinois		Below is a link that has a picture. I understand it was a skinny fish and probably would not have topped the current state record. Awesome fish and achievement non the less. It is still swimming in Kincaid as it was released. I believe the guy who caught it was fishing for bass with a buzz bait.
