Hi,
I started getting my baits ready for the season and came across my 6" phantoms and baby depth raiders. I have had great action on both. Problem is, I have had lots of problems hooking fish. Is there anything I can do to increase my hookups? Would bigger hooks work? If so, what size and should I use three hooks or do some people only use two(for the baby DR)? And yes, my hooks are sharp.
Thanks for your help,
Krishna

I do that to all my baits with hard bodies. Does it help to T hooks on soft bodies, like bulldawgs? I read somewhere of someone replacing the hooks on baby DRs to a bigger hook and the extra weight gets the bait to suspend on the pause. I'll mess around w/ that once the weather gets nicer.

i took off the 3 small hooks on my baby shallow raiders and put on two larger ones and now they

Fish4musky1,
What size hooks did you put on and did you do front and rear hook hangers?
Thanks,
Krishna
