Location: north central wisconsin | Greetings,
I have been planning a weekend getaway for my buddy, his father and brothers, and a few friends for a pre-wedding(he gets married at the end of the month) next weekend(April 1st), and just ran into a snag as far as accomodations go. We were going to use his cabin near Hayward WI, but some of his other family members will be using it that weekend.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a resort in northern or north central WI that would rent a cabin(or two) on a per night basis on a lake, that would be great. We will have about a dozen guys with his brothers, mine, and our folks. We plan to hit the perch and gills for one last shot, so something on a panfish lake, or nearby would be a bonus.
I know it is short notice, but any help would be greatly appreciated, and I am sure my buddy(maker of the G.P. Thumper spinnerbait) will have a couple baits for whoever helps us find something. You can email me or call my cell.
Thanks,
Jason Schillinger

Location: minocqua, wi. | this time of year with snowmobiling over and done with, you might try pitlicks in sugar camp, wi.. great old log cabins well furnished and they have experience with "fun" customers if you know what i mean. give them a try.

Location: north central wisconsin | Thanks to those that emailed and/or called with recomendations. Still looking for the 'right' place. Main goal is to find something on or near decent panfishing(hope the ice holds). Do you have the number for Pitlicks? No website found.

Location: Kaukauna, Wisconsin | Lakewoods Resort is a really nice place, it is on Lake Namekagon. I think it is one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern WI. The website address is, www.lakewoodsresort.com, at the site look under accomadations, then under lake homes and they have different size cottages for rent.
