I am buying a boat this year and I need to set it up for muskies and was wondering what are the essentials to have in the boat at all times. Hate to be in Canada and realize I forgot something important. Thanks for your help![;)]

Dude...MEDICATION....as in a good first aid kit! Motrin, alcohol wipes etc. can save your backside....I also try to carry BC Powders etc...whatever you can take that helps...simple but I've seen people sucking wind from a headache that can ruin a day on the water... I also take Tums etc. just in case![:sun:]

Jason, not sure what I am buying, just that I know I AM buying a boat.

I plan on having spare props for the big motor as well as the trolling motor, an extra battery, wrenches, a supersized roll of duct tape (fixes everything right) and stuff like that, what else is critical to have?

Be sure to get a trailer for the boat.

Kidding. You have a lot of good ideas already. List your ideas under headings like, fishing gear, first aid, spare boat parts, boat food, boat tools (get small bolt cutters and keep them handy in case both you and a big musky end up stuck to the same bait!), clothing, etc. Be prepared if you are forced to spend the night out on the water.
