Here's some more ante muskie simular to the lake Miltona the no more muskie's group, only southern style. This appeared in the Lexington Herald-Leader Sunday edition. Not sure what to do, but more education is clearly needed.

I guess I should have looked at the board a little, I see that FSF had already mentioned this, but I guess it doesn't hurt to mention this twice.

Education of the fishing public is very important to perserve the muskie stocking programs that exist in many states.

I also know that if someone didn't catch their limit of crappies this year and they used to always get their limit, it must be the "muskies". I'm not too sure what to do about this, but I think that articles from local DNR personal would help. The same problem exists with striped bass in many freshwater reservoirs.

How right you are Doug! Any time the perch jerkers don't get a fish on every cast + fill up the boat or 10 5 gallon buckets the daggone dummies start screaming for the IGF Dept. to rid the waters of musky, striper or any fish over 12 inches.....happens here too. The problem lies w/ the people who keep everything they catch...smaller lakes + the rivers take a real beating + the ones who "rape" the waters are the very ones who holler the most. If I were a Kentuck I'd definitely "tactfully" let othes know what the truth is + keep my business away from such places....hope this blows over.[:(]

Don't you guys find that its the boat with a stringer full of 8" walleyes that complain about the muskies. Meanwhile, they take there limit all the time and when fishing slows its the " muskies" fault.
Well when i'm in KY I won't be giving him any business.
