Yes Bomber I have one and they are built like a rock and they acutally weight less than a Pro V lund the same size. The main reason for this is that they have no plywood, carpet and glue which all take up weight when added to a boat.

I know Jerry at Lake Assault and he is not a typcial boat building person, he builds one boat at a time and takes pride in everyone. His back ground is in engineering and he has surrounded himself with many other smart people like himself.

They are going to have an open house in April, check out their website to see when it is www.lakeassault.com

Thanks, B.

P.S. They handle great in big and rough waters and can go where most boats can not...! "The last boat you will ever buy".

I am looking pretty hard at these boats right now. Built like a tank, big and ugly...just like me.

One of my concerns looking at the pics of this boat is fishing in wind. Especially you Baldy up where you're at. If they are as light as fitzel says, and looking at how high they sit out of the water I'd think you're going to get blown all over the place in the wind. I had a high sided light boat ONCE. It was a real pain to fish out of because it would get blown all over the place but it was a stepping stone to something better. Just something to think about.

Thought about that. I know one of the guys there, so I am trying to get a ride in one. Hopefully in the wind, so I can see how it handles big waves and getting blown around. The Pro-V I fish out of now is kind of high sided and it really angers me sometimes.

Don't make Baldy angry...you won't like him when he's angry.

Treats, why would you be afraid to make a guy with a Don Knots build angry?
