Has anyone heard about a 51" that was caught in Tippecanoe and kept?

The only thing I know is that it weighed about 38lbs. and was caught by a spoonplugger.

I don't know anything about it either....other than it sounds like the weight keeps going up as time goes on. First reports were of it being in the 33 lb range...then 35...now 38.

Last I heard as well was that it was either the Barbee Chain or Tippy.

All I'm hearing is stories though...nothing confirming other than the fish was kept.

Nice fish regardless! Congrats to the angler who caught it.

I heard it was caught on barbee too. Seen a post on Mike Ice's site. Who knows if it is even true.

ok...got an email. It was caught on tippy...35lbs. It was kept...was the anglers largest. Although I promote replicas because they look much better and last longer, he did decide to keep it. Congrats to a beauty of a fish!
