We lost most of the snow in the driveway today and yesterday, but WOW it's snowing out there again. Knocked the snow and Ice off the 1690 and 2050 only to see them buried again tonight. Sheesh.

I was hoping to be able to get to the pine slashing I've been heating my house from all year as the snow melted, but looks like instead I'm looking at another 10" here tonight and tomorrow. WOW what a turnaround. I wanted to fish this weekend, but work yesterday and my Grandson's 2nd birthday party today kept me off the ice. Might have been the last chance I have this winter.

Pictures tomorrow morning!

I'm selling the Hideout and moving to Kentucky.

That's a bad idea, I'm a Westerner, and a Yankee by address.

Maybe I'll just visit there alot.

Sure, this is what it looks like out there now in my driveway under that drift, and it's still coming down hard. The wind is blowing like a banshee, too. Nice day to maybe go outside and yell at Ma Nature.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, fishing in shirtsleeves this weekend, and today. Told you where you should be. Uhm, sure, we missed you, missed you bad, LOL.

Heading north tomorrow, probably have to wear a sweatshirt or two, bbrrrr, that WILL be cold. I will just have to tough it out I guess.

Steve, I guess it is where the snow line went through. I'm in the metropolis of Pound, WI and we got nothing but rain. I'm East, but only a little South of you. No snow here!

Hi Steve
What was the total snowfall up there. Thinking of coming upnorth this weekend or next. Hate to see you have to shovel thru it, but it sure helps the lake levels.

Beware the ides of March. Another storm due for the southern part of the state Wednesday nite and Thursday. Always seem to get hit during boys state roundball time.

Up here at the top of the state, Superior, I didn't even get out a shovel, barely a couple inches. Yet 60 miles south, at work in the Trego area, they got up to 27". Wild River even closed because of weather! That's world news! Everyone else got an extra day off this week except me. I had scheduled yesterday off so I could paint the left 3/4 of my kids new truck that his girlfriend put in a snowbank a while back.
We need the snow for spring run-off, though. I actually wouldn't mind seeing more, then a melt with high water towards the end of April.

And we had to stake down the house so it wouldn't float away around here. Also had 60+ mph winds. Took my flag down so it wouldn't get shredded. Was 62 on sunday and 25 today, go figure.
