Any guesses as to how the water levels will be by the northern opener? I know they were WAY down last fall. Does anyone know how the amount of snow that is present when the thaw begins contribute to raising the lake levels, or does rain have more of an affect? I've heard 2 ft. of snow on the ground right now, is that enough to make up for the very low water that was present last fall, or should we start a rain dance?

I would guess it will be up from last year but not back to regular levels of years past unless we have a wet Spring.

Way too early to know for sure but lots of snow up there this season. It's about time northern Wisconsin gets some $$$ back into there pockets form the tourists.
