The Fox River Valley Challunge on the Chain will be april 29th this year. This year we are going with a post marked entry so get your entries in early! It is a great time with good payout and prizes. Get your entry in before march 1st to take advantage of the reduced entry fee. More info can be seen at www.frvmuskie.com and clicking on tournament information. See you there!

The field is at 52 boats now, just over half full. Those who have hopes of fishing the PMTT event in the fall should consider entering. It's a good way to establish some contacts and start to learn the characteristics of the chain.

FRV can now process credit cards for tournament entries. Those of you attending the Extreme show in Chicago, this is a good time to get your entry in. Your time/post mark of entry determines your starting position.

I would love to fish this but am without a boat. If anyone wants a boat partner, let me know.

This is a truely fun event, not just another tournament but great camaraderie, food, free beverages, prizes, etc. I'm contemplating a 6 hour drive to do it again.

Bob.

As Todd mentioned, the FRV website (link in his post) has a boater/no boater list specific to the Tournament. It's under the Tournament Information section... called the "Singles List". You can put an inquiry in the Message Board too if you want. Hope you get a chance to fish it!

Been on the list for weeks. WAS on it in the fall as well and I have not heard from anyone, so I thought I would try here.

And I just heard... through the grapevine... that for the Spring Challunge, the FRV Chapter will be providing, for the first time ever... SODA! We'd always assumed that a couple kegs of beer would suffice, but recently the number of requests for non-alcoholic beverages has been large enough to justify the additional expense. So, there will be some type of soda there for these folks.

Just another example of how far the FRV Chapter of Muskies Inc. is willing to go to provide a quality tournament experience for all participants!
