| Just got a new MK Maxxum 74, foot control. When it was installed the dealer said it sounded like loose magnets. Took it to the ASE for MinnKota and they replaced the insides of the motor. It runs fine. However, it sounds like it is grinding. It is much noiser than my older Motor Guide 67# thrust, and before that my Evinrude trolling motor.
I am going to talk to the ASE and see what he says; however, are MK Maxxum's a little louder than MotorGuide's?
