| Hello all,
I'm 43 with a good solid interest in working with wood. I do it for a living.
Any how I am always looking for a new hobby, I have many now but I always wanted to make a few baits to use.
Is there any good info out there on making Muskie baits?
Best patterns,woods, finishes? Any help?
Thanks,
Kirk | |

| Hi Kirk,
Try my site www.out2llunge.cjb.net I made the site to spread info on making muskie baits. You can also try www.tacklemaking.com and www.lurebuilding.nl (click on UK flag or Forum for the discussion forum). The last two sites have active discussion boards on lure making.
Cheers,

| I just started making my own wood jerkbaits this year and the biggest piece of advise is that you get a small fishtank to test the balance of your baits. It'll allow you to compair your bait against others you may have. It also makes it very easy to view how the bait sinks/suspents. Also, get the dremmel. It'll make life much easier. | |
