Location: Apollo, PA | Several monthes ago i decided to get a custom rod. After asking for peoples opinions on this board and weighing the many fine rod makers out there, i decided to give Keith Terlinden of Professional Edge and order.
Well, i didn't give him an order right away... I mean i couldn't decide on rod type and wrappings and guides and all that stuff. Well, he was patient and told me to take my time. And i did....
I finally chose some stuff i wanted and today i received my rod. Gotta tell ya its beautiful and atleast in my hands feels like exactly what i was looking for........
Its the nicest rod that i own. I am so happy that i wanted to put in a plug for this guy. He spent alot of time with me and if he checks his phone bill, he probably didn't make that much on the rod!!! All kidding aside, if your in the market for a beautiful muskie rod for yourself or someone you love, give Keith a look, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks Keith
PS If we get a warm spell, i'm gonna try her out! |

I always wanted a custom built rod. I always told buddies of mine that you have to find a rod that feels like your.......
Ok, a natural extention of yourself. I'm betting that it is more like that with a custom rod. Good luck this year!

Location: Mpls, MN | Keith is a nice guy. I meet him at the Medina Expo and placed an order a week or so later. I'll get mine at the Blaine Expo. And your right he will take the time to explain everything you want to know. I spent sometime on the phone with him discussing it. The price is great too. I'm pumped.
What I want to really see is Happy Hookers rod that he is getting made. That sucker sounds very cool.

Location: Brookfield, WI | I just got mine on Tuesday and they are awesome. I'm a rookie and having a guy willing to explain what I was getting really made a difference. I too talked to him on the phone several times before ordering. He's a good guy and knows his stuff.

Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | I have put in an order too. Can not wait for it to get here. Keith is commited to making sure you get EXACTLY what you want. He was in direct contact with me asking what personal touches I wanted done and was willing to meet me at a show or mail it to me. I had him make a 8 ft diamondback MH fast action for all my llungen tails. Ü
I highly suggest Proffesional Edge Fishing Rods...

Location: Lafayette, IN | I agree, custom rods are great sticks to use.
However, they break just as easily as the non-custom rods when you or your boat partner step on them.
I had a custom bass rod built for my son a number of years back (affordable but still a custom) and that's the only rod he's broken. Happened the first year he had it. Go figure!
Enjoy your new toy. We want pictures this spring!!! |

The personal touch on the rod..that sounds bad
Mine's going to say Blowfish on it. Now who would want to steal that! |
