I am going to Rough Rock Lodge for the Thorn Bros outing. Wondering if anyone has been there before and what it is like. What is that system like, what do the fish like, etc.

Here is their website: www.roughrocklodge.com.
I have met the owners, John & Sandy Kugler, at the Minnesota Muskie Show. They seem to be great people.
You will need to get the Ontario Provincial Map for the Winnipeg River from Whitedog Dam to Minaki. It is very, very accurate.
I have fished Rough Rock and south. It is one of my favorite places to chase muskies.

I have never stayed at that lodge but I go to the Winnipeg River every year. I wouldn't miss it.
