Subject: Holy Moley! 2 cycle oil $$$





Location: Athens, Ohio		I took the day off yesterday and went to see my mom in Cincy and took her out to lunch for Valentines Day. We stopped at the Bass Pro Shop and I got a gallon of the Quicksilver Super Premium Plus 2 cycle oil for my Gambler. It was $26.50 a GALLON! That's way up from the $16-18 that I recall from last year. Geez, did we lose a war or something?

Anyone know where this might be cheaper or has it all gone thru the roof? thanks, m

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana		Talk to your local marina.

They might be able to sell you bulk oil out of their large drums if you bring in your old gallon containers.

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot		Mikie, you should be able to get bulk oil much cheaper from any reputable merc dealer. I was buying 2.5 gal jugs and getting them refilled. That was until a local Gander closed and I got 7 2.5 gal bottles for 40% off. Now I've got enough oil for a couple years.

Amen Treats-

I got 4 gallons of AmsOil last year at Gander...on sale $15 bucks a gallon. I'm set for a while as well.

Location: Algonquin, ILL		I love my 4-stroke, No Oil, No Fumes, Better gas Mileage.

But like the others have said try to buy from the Bulk tanks at Marinas or ( I Know you don't like It ) Wal-Mart, K-Mart Etc
