At the Milwaukee show I noticed the little globes for sale by Bitten Tackle and Calico Jack were exactly the same. And I mean exact right down to the polish marks on the blades and quantity of spacers/washers. The paint jobs were different but the body shape/size and components were identical.

Does anybody out there know why? Do they have a "deal" where one of the two designed it and the other bought the rights to manufacture or what.

Thanks,

Corey Meyer

Hi Corey,

I saw that too. I almost bought one. On the site it gives credit to bitten tackle for making it for them.

I was thinking it was something like that. The two different tackle company names selling the same lure threw me for a loop.

Thanks,

Corey

I bought one from Bitten Tackle at the Chicago show. I tried it out at a local creek a couple weeks ago and it has some great potential, I can't wait to try it out this year.

Dudes-
I've got one of Doug's Shakers...simply awesome.
He does some seriously great work. If you don't have one of his baits, nows the time to start acquiring.

Thanks all it is awesome to hear these great words. I also just heard at the last show there was a fish caught on Lac Seul last Aug, that measured 54 inches with approx 26" of girth on the shaker, INCREDIBLE. Now just waiting on pics, I will try to get them posted when I can. Good luck all and thanks again for the kind words. Doug Bradley
