Hi guys,

Thought I'd bounce over here from the walleye side and share something with you.

If you recall, last year about this time I came on here and reported that I had asked the Minnesota DNR at the Mille Lacs Fisheries Input Group meeting to raise the minimum legal size for muskies from 40" to 48". Well tonight we had our annual meeting and I again brought up the question and was told that starting this spring, the Minnesota DNR will be posting signs at landings on 40 lakes managed for muskie fishing, including Mille Lacs and the other prime muskie lakes in the state, informing people that in the fall the state DNR will be holding a series of public "input" meetings with the intention of raising the STATEWIDE legal minimum to 48" starting on the opener of 2007!!!
