Tlucht and ToddM bring up great points on the "Question of Support Thread". How do we get musky people to show up in MASS to vote on important musky issues?

The Spring Hearing is April 11th, that gives us time, what can be done?

How about a sponsored "MuskieFirst" musky management information sheet to distribute to musky clubs and to walleye or general fishing clubs when we think about a lake. 1. Muskies don't eat all of your walleyes 2. Yes, muskies are the best 3. No, not for food.

Perhaps we could address a few issues and use DNR biological data to help inform anglers that would help curve their thought process!

Just a thought...

Perhaps the Muskies Inc Chapters can make this worth their member's while. I am not sure exactly how things work in every county but I hear you get a ballot, at least in some counties when you vote. Maybe there is some way to verify attendance at these meetings. If so, the chapters can use that to enter their participating members in a drawing of some sort. I would think there are enough wi resorts that support the size limit increases and they would donate a trip for such a purpose.

Justin, I am currently working on a FAQ fact sheet, answering many of the most common questions that come up relating to musky regulation changes. I just got the first draft reviews back from some of my WDNR contacts and need to make the suggested changes. When this is done it will be pretty comprehensive and will site reference materials. The plan is to distribute this, along with a summary of the Pelican Lake proposal to Conservation Congress Members and News Papers before the spring hearings. I could also add Musky Clubs to this list so the word can be passed mouth to mouth so to speak.

I have already talked to Steve about who would be best to officially sponsor this, remembering we only have 3 months until the hearings
