Another trolling question????
Any info one these rods. How easy are they to break? Price is good....$45. I would put okuma d20 line coutners on them. I am realyl intrested to see if anyone uses the dipsy model 10'6 Rod. I would think running a legend at 6mph is like dragging a dipsy around the lake. Any suggestions.

I have one of these rods and I'm sure it would do fine.The diameter of the tip is 3/16" and the butt section measured at the top of the handle is 27/32". I have pulled two 6" wiley muskie king jr's with a pound of lead at 5mph with this rod and had no problems.

Most people who see this rod for the first time have a reaction similar to some one seeing a musky bait for the first time. Holy crap what are you going to catch with that thing.

Re: Cabelas dipsey rods. I run 6 of them. I'll use them until they explode. I use them to pull boards on outside rods and also drop them under for 10- 15' back off of transom.
