We're going to rig a spinning combo up for our grandson, and want to use braided line. Is one better for spinning? Thanks Doug

I've found that limp-er line works best for spinning gear (is that a word?). Too stiff and you'll be getting tangles. I've used Spiderwire original braid, not sure they make it any more, I got a good supply from the warehouse a couple years ago. hope that helps a little. I think kids take to spinning gear better, so I hope you both do well. m

I use 30# Power Pro on my Shimano 4000 series spinner and am very happy with it. Casts a Martian mile and doesn't ever tangle. Like the previous response, I think the limp braid is a tremendous advantage.
