| I may book a trip to this lake for late September for Musky fishing. I have not heard much of anything about this lake. This would be my first time fishing it, has anybody had success for musky on this lake, any size potential. Truthful info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Bill. |

Location: Downers Grove, IL | The lake is beautiful. I know the size limit is 54 inches and it doesnt get much pressure. Great smallmouth bass fishing and walleyes as well. Also, if you dont make contact with muskies on Perrault you could make the short drive to Cedar which is just south about 5-10 kms or down to Vermillion Bay on Eagle. You also have Lac Seul just to the North which has the best Walleye and Pike fishing I've ever experienced. SO basically.......you cant loose!

Location: Twin Cities | I have fished this lake for several years. If you want muskies you probably want to fish in cedar lake. perrault has good walleye and northerns. i dont think that the lake has a 54 size limit unless it is new. my biggest to date is out of cedar and a guy at our resort a few years ago boated a 54 on cedar. there is also a resort on perrault that has a muskie only portage lake that you drive to.

| i fished cedar lake for a week this last summer.... the muskies were being very lazy... had a few fast follows... the rest were slow and lazy... but i had about 40-50 follows that week... caught 15 or so pike (fishing for pike)... and i saw probably the biggest musky of my life swim under my boat.. in 4 feet of water when i was fishing for pike... 20 lb line... little silver minnow.... the muskie was at least 50"... |

There were 2-50"+ fish caught on the lake by father-son guests at this resort 2 summers ago. Just 20 minutes apart. They were on the Muskies Inc. cover if you are familiar with it.
