Location: Corning, Iowa | Don't take any stars away from me, but, how many tackle boxes do you take with you on a boat? We have so many, if we ever catch anything, there won't be any room to fight it.

| Doug,
I started using Bibs Boxes last season and love 'em.I took one or 2 of the large boxes in the boat last season and only used a fraction of the baits.Better to have too much than too little.LOL.Needed a bigger boat to carry all the gear. Not really, I used to fill every compartment of my 620 with 3730's and have 2 monsters under the rear deck.Too funny. | i've always been a big fan of lakewoods boxes, but i bought one from rob myers from shimano and it's cool! comparable to the smaller lakewoods box, but it has a mesh top/drained bottom, lightweight, individual dividers, and sturdy. dont' recall the cost, but it was a good deal.

Location: addison, il | hello. i used to make my own before lake woods came out . i made them from the big rubbermaid footlocker totes with the hinged back and dubble front latches i would mill out groves in lexan to hold hooks attach handles on them they would hold 200+ lures man am i glad i dont carry them around any moore talk about takeing up space. i am now big into useing plano stow aways and leaving more floor space open to deal with the task at hand and not tripping all over. but lake wood monsters are my pick and the small day box i call it that is perfect for night time fishing. just throw a small assortment in of what you realy need and go.
till next time.
jack some jaw.

Location: Ames, Iowa | I leave the big Flambeau boxes at home or in the Blazer. I got so tired of stepping over them and having them in our way during rougher conditions. Asking a kid to move every time I wanted a bait, then hving to look for it. I choose 15-20 muskie baits and place them in a 5 tube bait holder mounted on an ankle high seat pedestal on my bow casting deck. I take a multiuse box that holds 5 plastic flats- one for walleye cranks, one for jigs and plastic, one small one for rig material; one for muskie jigs and plastic and the fifth one has everything I need for replacement of muskie hooks, split rings, leaders, clevises, blades, etc. Room also in the box for xtra line, all my leaders, and repair items for rods, reels- compass, xtra flashlight, headlight, spare bulbs for all lights, camera, batteries, mosquito head nets. I take flats and other things out and replace them as I need to, but that box stays in the boat for evey trip. This works for me.

Location: Pewaukee, WI | (1) Dunwright Box for all bucktail/spinner Baits
(2) Plano with clear vision inserts for Top Water/Gliders
(1) Lakewood Monster for Big baits/Soft Plastics
Several small Plano boxs that fit into storage compartments filled with Cranks and smaller baits.
Not room in the boat for much else. Each winter I go through all the boxs and weed out the baits that didn't get used making room to BUY MORE BAITS!

| I try to carry just one of the big Dunwright boxes for the majority of my baits. I then have various planos stashed away with jigs, eels, etc.
I also have 2 magnum tackle binders stashed away that hold a BUNCH of spinnerbaits.
for the Fall, I have a homemade custom box that I use for the BIG baits. that comes along with the rest

| anywhere from 3 to 6 Monster Lakewoods, plus a HUGE bag that is bigger than a Monster Sized Lakewood.
so..on any give day..i have about 4 Monster Lakewood's in my boat...and always have the big cammo bag..so, normally 5 Tackle Boxes with the LakeWood Monster being the smallest.

Location: Contrarian Island | Tom you carry wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many lures in the boat!
I try not to even carry a box and just put all the lures I need on my bait tubes or on the walls up front...
like to try and keep the boat somewhat clean..so I have more room for rods! |

Location: Greenfield, WI | A few years ago I started monitoring how many boxes/baits were actually used during a day in the boat. With very few exceptions, no matter how many boxes were brought into the boat, only about a half dozen baits were actually thrown each day. |

| I'm curious what exactly "bibs boxes, and capt. Harry's tackle tamers" are? What do they look like, where can I find them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
