Slamr

It's not the suit. As a matter of fact the suit looks great, especially when it's not on you.
Fact is, you look like Dork ALL the time.

You are right, Greybeard... I bought him that Mustang survival suit as an engagement present! And I hear the Pillsbury Doughboy look is very in this year.

Now, if I could just get him to remember to bring his phone with him....

I tried to call Slamr, but he FORGOT HIS PHONE! Almost unbelievable!!

But good. Don't need that thing ringing when trying to fish, anyway.

I'll let them share the stories.

What a day.... Perfect weather, no wind, and active muskies. You can't complain with that....especially becauses it's JANUARY 21st........06!!! A big shout out goes to Slamr for draggin the jacuzzi down 294 with about 6 inches of snow on the ground and to Muskie Mike for pullin an all-nighter and still working a DDD like an SOB. Its nice to start the year with a bang......

GREAT PICS ... WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE !! MANAGED TO STICK A 35" ON SUNDAY . INTERESTING CATCH AND RELEASE FROM SHORE .. THE ICE WAS OUT ABOUT 2 FEET FROM SHORE BUT I WAS STANDING ON THE SEAWALL , I NEVER TOOK THE 2 OF THOSE FACTORS INTO COSIDERATION UNTIL I GOT HOOKED UP .... HAD TO LIFT THE FISHES HEAD UP ENOUGH SLIDE IT UP OVER THE ICE SO I COULD GET THE HOOKS OUT , BETWEEN THE STEEP HILL AND THE FOOT OF SNOW AND THE 2 OR 3 FOOT HIGH SEAWALL I ALMOST WENT IN THE DRINK ABOUT 5 OR 6 TIMES !! THEN I WASN'T SURE HOW TO GET THE FISH BACK IN THE WATER , I DIDN'T WANT TO THROW IT ( KEEP IN MIND THE 2 FEET OF ICE BETWEEN ME AND THE OPEN WATER ) SO I JUST SLID HER ON HER BELLY LIKE A PENGUIN ACROSS THE ICE AND INTO THE RIVER SHE WENT!! IT SURE WAS FUN TO CATCH THE FIRST FISH OF THE YEAR !! ALSO A LITTLE REDEMPTION ON THE RIVER , FISHED IT A FEW TIMES WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT , UNTIL NOW !!!
