I am in need of a taxidermist that has some knowledge about fixing a silver fox hat. I have a hat that has a tail connected to it but our stupid dog has now made the tail into 2 pieces. The main part of the tail is still connected to the hat, but I need to get the two sections reattached. Anyone out there know how or know someone that does? Thanks.

Hey 102,
I think you need a surgeon, not a taxidermist...seriously, try Joe Fittante in Antigo.

Chris Kunze of Chris Kunze taxidermy does some of the best work with Foxes I have ever seen. Je can be contacted thorugh his postings on e-bay. I used to have his e-mail but for some reason I cannot find it. Do a search on Fox Taxidermy and a couple of his peices will show up. You can send him an e-mail from one of his posting.
