Wow! I'm really bummed- But I wish him all the best and seriously hope he considers doing another book. I very seldom read anything twice, but I've actually read "Muskies on the Shield" cover to cover ~ 7-8 times. His insight on Mrs. Pearson's muskie fishing "habit's have been very enlightening, i.e., sometimes you need to do something different. Everytime I read it, I find at least one new insight into muskie fishing.

Dick- Have fun in your retirement, and thank you for some the best words ever written about muskie fishing.

Brad, thanks to you, Troy, and Josh for joining our club meeting from MN.

Dick will not be presenting in the future, if ever again, so please try to attend one of his last presentations.

He will still be writing for EA and helping with the ERC/Drifter products.

He told me he plans to get back to exploring new water with his best bud Betsy. What could be better than that? I wish them the best, and Thursday night he dazzled our club meeting crowd with his years of wisdom and perspective, as always, pushing thought leadership to a new level.

Anyone who gets the chance should try and catch one of Mr. Pearson's last seminars. One of the true gentleman of this sport, and a great lecturer/educator. Best of luck to him and wife in the future.

The Brainerd Lakes Muskies, Inc. chapter is actually having their banquet in March, the 18th to be exact. This banquet is huge, keeps getting bigger every year. Last year we had over $31,000 in prizes that we gave away, not too mention a great speaker in Jim Saric. This year will be no exception with Dick Pearson. People have been coming to this banquet from some pretty significant distances, just based on the reputation this annual banquet is getting.

If anyone is interested in making donations for this event, send me a PM or an email and we'll set you up. Maybe you want to get your name out there with your tackle or guide service. Or maybe you just want to donate for a great event. The Brainerd Chapter is known for putting their financial resources to great use. So your donations will definitely be used for a great cause in helping out our musky resources.

If you're interested in getting a ticket for this event, I can help you out there too. Just let me know....

Thanks,
Aaron
