| i tried calling hermans landing on the chippewa flowage to make some reservations for a friend. no answer, time after time, day after day. same response (none) with emails. anybody know what's going on over there?

| Don't know about hermans but some resorts on the flowage close over the winter for awhile. Deerfoot was closed from Nov.-day after Christmas. I called there last week and got a cabin for a week in June. Maybe you could try there unless your friends have their hearts set on hermans. Let me know if you need their phone no. Good Luck.
