Location: Lincoln UK | Awful idea unless you guys want to shoot an MF calander. what happens if they catch more than the guys? You would never here the end of it, it would just go on and on and on leading to them changing the name MuskieFirst to MuskieFemale and the men feeling like second class citizens. |

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin | I got Sarah a customized Fig Rig Tooth Tamer for her birthday last fall. "Sarah the musky slayer" enscribed in pink. This will be the year! She's good luck! She was driving the boat when we trolled up a 30lber on election day, we caught a limit of giant bluegills through the ice AND I forgot to bring the net and she hooked a 22ish inch smallmouth. Notice no measurement...oh yeah, that's my fault! We're there! |

Location: NW burbs of Chicago | Yeah, I think you can count me out. I don't necessarily 'like' to fish muskies. I like being with my husband and getting a tan on the boat when it's nice out, but aside from maybe three baits that I have, I don't own equipment, nor do I really want to catch anything... I'd rather save the muskies for Andrew. I like to be netwoman, though, and take good pictures of his catch.

| Guys, think about this for a minute...
The stuff you talk about on the boat, it stays between the guys, right?
You get those girls together and what's gonna happen? They're gonna TALK. Not only are they gonna TALK but they're gonna talk about YOU. THEN they're gonna come home and talk to YOU about what they talked about on the boat, because they don't keep stuff to themselves like we do. They're going to leave out what they said about you, but you can BET you'll hear about what your buddy's wives talked about.
Think about what that means -- your wife out talking to your friends' wifes, who go home and talk to your friends, and pretty soon all your friends know all the stuff that right now only your wife knows, AND you know all the stuff only your friends' wives know. THEN you go fishing, and instead of the normal stuff about football, hunting, women, beer you're gonna be thinking about what your wife said about what your buddy's wife said about your buddy, stuff you really don't want to know, and don't really want to talk about.
Is that REALLY a good idea? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Yes, it is. if you can't stand the heat, get out of the oven. Or something like that....
Sue and Crash will talk about building houses or remodeling kitchens. Or candle parties. Certainly not me or Slamr, because that would be very boring. VERY boring.
You haven't HEARD gossip until you listen to a couple Muskie men talking. That's a fact, too. |

Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | There really isn't much That I talk about with other folks in the boat that I don't talk about with Lori. I think the only difference is that the language gets a little rough, and I don't have to say "excuse me when I fart or burp (although, because of being used to it with Lori, sometimes I still do). |

Location: NW burbs of Chicago | I will second that, Steve. Muskie fishermen gossip WAY WORSE than women, and let me tell you, listening to Jonesi, TomyV and Andrew discuss what fishing stuff they were bringing to the goon... well, you could have substituted the word dress for lure and they could have been discussing what they were taking on their honeymoon.
'How many baits [dresses] you bringing?'
'What color baits [dresses] are you bringing?
'If I bring my white [dress], and you bring your whatever colored [dress], and then you can borrow mine, and I'll borrow your's.'
Seriously

| LMAO, Crash -- You got a point there!
If you substituted the word "dress" or "shoes" in the conversations we have? Yep, nothing more than a bunch of hairy women, LOL!!! |

Location: Appleton, WI | First of all, I have enjoyed the passed two musky seasons with my husband tremendously. However, I am open to a ladies musky fishing outing. I think that would be a great learning experience. And fun, too!
My husband will tell you that I do not impede converstion in the boat, other than farting and burping..LOL. I truly enjoy the time with him and his guy friends. It is down to earth, as I am. (And morbid, I like that.) |
