| What one thing would you choose to do more of on your favorite big fish lake to put big fish in the net? More trolling, fishing deeper, fishing for suspended fish, using bigger baits, using more livebait, avoiding playing the numbers game, etc. | |

| Spend more time fishing it during prime conditions if you can
If you know big fish are in there, you know they will be eating sometime and someplace. You just need to locate them and be there at the right time | |

| Bigger baits at better times is my answer. I started last year using 14" + baits after seeing what the biggest fish are capable of eating. Now my 14" baits look small to the 18" baits I have been pulling. It is not just the baits, I think I am becoming smarter at locating bigger fish at better times and these baits produce the results I seek. These fish are used to seeing meals like this, most fisherman are not prepared to use equipment like this. | |

| Being there with optimum weather conditions while they had the feed bag on.
Never know when they are going to be hungry. If they ate every day, this sport would be easier.

| I agree Bigger baits are key. I proved this point this fall on LOTW our boat trolled nothing but 14" jakes and the other boat trolled nothing but 10" jakes,
We caught all big fish on 14" jakes concentrating on big fish spots only, while the other boat caught only average size fish. We also lost one 52" almost 40lbs on the 14" jake
The point was proven, and next year the 18" are coming out of the closet!
Good Luck
