HAve any of you purchased any of these weagle knockoffs that are on ebay? If so what do you think? Would you buy again or wait on the real thing?

I'd rather buy a weagle then one of the lookalikes... just wait, be sure to hit the shows as early as you can if you want one..

or wait til steve has them for sale over at muskynut.com that way, u're supporting him, u're getting the real thing, and you both win. plus, you won't get shanked for 20 bux for something that might not work as well.

i'd considered buying one last year, but, the more i got to know Cady, the more i want to help support the little guy.

I just bought another weagle (thanks Lambeau) and I'm happy to have the real deal. I must admit though that I also bought one of the weagle knock offs on EBAY. It is called the satisfier. I must say I am quite impressed. It is almost exactly the same size,
dimensions, hook placement, number of hooks, etc. Even the weight or mass of the bait is very, very close to the weagle. It is quite an impressive duplication.

The real test will come once she hits the water. I know the sound and water displacement is important so this will be the real test. The paint job on the satisfier is also very impressive. It cost me less than $19 bucks so I figured I'd give her a shot. If Jackpots are still good baits I see no reason why this one won't work either.

i have purchased 2 more walk the dog baits that are similar to the weagle , off ebay since i purchased my first one this summer. i think they are just a good...but more options for "better" paint jobs/color schemes. the clear coat on the baits similar to weagles hold up better/last longer too.

10 dollar lures. 40 dollar lures. Hmmm. It's all in what you do with the bait. It's up to the individual who purchases the lure. This musky fishing is a disease. What ever cures the symptoms for those infected is what works. There is NO wrong bait or right bait. It's whatever pleases the individual.

just got two weale, wannabe's today, hate to say this, I have both now and the wannabees are just that, heard all the things about great paint, Mine are not any better painted than cady does so don't beleive that one. Wonder if this guy even tested his lures or just spun something out the same size because his hooks he puts on it are going to fowl every couple cast if I get aggressive with it,way too long, I think I made a mistake, It probably works like a fat jackpot but I'm going to say not impressed.

Let us know how those run after you have had a chance to fish them.
