Location: Germantown, WI | Ontario does not have province-wide seasons, size limits, creel limits. They have region-specific seasons, size limits and creel limits as well as body of water specific special regulations. Therefore the opening of musky fishing in Ontario depends on which region you will be fishing. Where I fish in Southern Ontario, the Kawartha region, the musky season opens the first Saturday in June each year. I'm pretty sure that lakes in Northwest Ontario like Lake of the Woods, Eagle, Lac Seul, Wabigoon, etc have a later opener. If you want to check for certain do a web search for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I always hit the Goon around the second week July. It opens third week June, but some years it's still pretty cold into late June.
