| Why are you assuming it is trolling time?

| Water temps under 40 I troll 2.5 to 3.5 mph and troll deep running baits, either small like Lokes, Tuff Shads, Depth Raiders, and Lil Ernies or giant like 14 inch Jakes, 13 inch Believers, and 14 inch Legend Plows and Franky Baits. Depends on big fish or small fish waters and my mood!
Just tested 22 inch baits out on Tippy last weekend for MuskieFool. The Mother May Eye has great action and doesn't blow out at any speed up to 10 mph. | |

Location: lansing, il | not assuming anything but its a option. cold air temps, cold water with reels and eyelets freezing up, a few hours of trolling is not out of the question to make the day last that much longer!!
