Last night was a blast!!!!

Me and Baldy had some fun......$155 for a Weagle.......and I wasn't even drinking!!!

Brad Nelson was on fire and I look forward to sharing the boat with you up in MN!

Thanks again everybody that came there to support our ol' buddy Kly.

A very big thank you goes out to Slamr and Steve Worrell for hosting it and doing a great job at it!

It was awesome, and I am sure Kly was looking down laughing his a$$ off most of the night.

Thanks to everybody!!!!

All you guys were on fire last night. "The Kid" was probably laughing his a$$ off watching the festivities.
To all who won lures with custom repaints.....Slamr will send me the lures. You get in touch with me via e-mail or PM and we'll discuss a pattern. If you have a picture, better yet. Or, I can just paint everything black.
Judging by the weather, it will be a while before I'm painting. In order to warm up the garage, I'd have to start it on fire today!!!!!
Now that was "reality monitor" last night.
Better than TV, even if you didn't bid.
Slamr, outstanding job of coordinating everything. Thanks.

The auction went very well last night, thanks to everyone who bid on or took home an item. Slamr and Niki did a superb job setting up the event, it was a ton of work and I appreciate the efforts more than they can know. Again, thanks to everyone who donated, bid, or took an item home! Watch for the silent auction soon.

You guys seriously rock!!!

Besides the funny banter that was cracking me up all night, there is such a great spirit of generosity here that is really amazing. I am proud to be married to a muskie fisherman and part of this community.

Thanks to everyone who donated anything to this effort and especially thanks to the auction winners. We're going to try our best to sort through our notes from last night to ensure that the bidders get everything they bid on--esp. on the lots that got a little crazy--but you can also help in that effort by sending Andrew an email ([email protected]) with the lot number and what all it ended up containing--as well as your REAL name and address.

Thanks again.

Thanks to all involved in organizing, running and donating to the cause, and to all the bidders. I had a lot of fun, and for such a great cause. All involved should be very proud!

I'm still laughing about the item that started out as a lure and turned into a box full of lures and 3 guide dates.
Lots of generosity last night.......and a few beers I imagine.

You guys are a great group and should be proud of the dedication you have shown to a friend and a great cause. I did not know Kyle, but wish I would have, he must have been pretty special. I have been pleased to be a part of last years and this years auction and helping stock his favorite lake. Wish I could contribute more... maybe next year I'll have a few more bux in my pocket. Great job all you big spenders.

Thanks again, and keep up the good work.

Definately a job well done last night. This was my first Kly auction and I had a blast! Great work Slamr keeping everything rolling and organized......also big thanks to Beav bailing me out on the bait that I bid on thinking someone out there wanted it more than I did. Great work again guys!

That was my first Kly auction too and well worth it. Good causes are worth it in any case, muskie or not. Everyone that stepped with these donations is amazing. Lures, guide trips, impromp-to add in baits and stuff. Really cool.

Good fun. Ha! Merry Xmas to me and now to go shopping for Ramon Noodles! Or maybe I can sell a kidney or two. =)

Well I am glad I came home with something again this year. Beav did a custom Mooneye Castor for me last year, and I had heard great things about the Perka and just watched the 10 inch Castor in action last weekend. I am happy with my take and my bid will put 18 muskies into my favorite S WI lake, and more importantly, into Kly's favorite lake. I never met Kly, but I have meet so many of his friends I feel like I know him.

He represents all that is good about musky fishing and men

I guess you can blame me for the crazy bidding. The second Perka turned into 3 of them, a snowcrest bullseye, then a trolling book. 150 was the asking bid and I bit. From then on the craziness ensued, for the good!

Sorry guys I was $200 bills in to the auction and got my chicky horny so I had to split (living with her now unlike last year) it was fun while it lasted! I had to get the hell out of there to get some...the good thing is I am $600 into the Kyle stuff and I hope one day i can fish the lake we stock with these dollars. It is a shame what happend and I love what we all do for his name. Musky are overrated (don't get pissed) what I mean they are overrated on this site. They are so Underated in the United States and because of us we keep the musky fishing alive. I would like to Thank everyone who donate items to this auction and tell them if they want to play golf an my course the round is on me....I mean it. See everyone on the water or on the green...

PGA, anytime you want to hit the big O, shoot me a message, and you can jump in my boat. Then you can see why he loved the lake so much, as well as musky fishing in general. Thanks again everyone. The short kid is looking down on us (sometimes he is laughing his @$$ off) and having a blast up there.

I had a blast as well guys, even though i showed up late, i got to score some good stuff!!!
The banter was like having 20 kids in a room full of toys with santa clause handing them out....so funny..
but i paid the price today at the warehouse (boss was gone, all on me ALL day WITH a hangover and the skitters too!!)

thanx for all the hard work again Andrew, Steve and everyone else that did this. What an awesome time. I can't wait to meet some of you guys at the pittsburgh show a month from now.

We should all agree to wear screenname tags or something.

I enjoyed it too, I have never met Kly or even visited the lake you guys are talking about, heck I have never been to the midwest!!! Regardless, what a great cause, lots of fun, and looking forward to next year.

I had an awesome time too!!! It was a blast watching the items go higher, and higher ...... But for a great cause. And some people really stepped up i.e. Mike, SteveW and Slamr. If I lived closer to the mid-west, I definitley would have taken a run at that monster lot.

One question, will we get a final bill including shipping and a list of the items won because alot of the lots had additional lures added in?? I can't remember what I won with the 2 Musky Treats?? Too much rum I guess. Does the chat get posted to review???

Thanks for any info.

I participated last year, only got to see the last 8-10 lots this year due to work, but can't wait to honor Kly and spend $$$ next year!!!!

What a great idea that has taken on a life of its own. I attend many corporate auctions for fundraisers that do not raise this much $$$ for such a specific/limited exposure cause, with a relatively small participating group.

Amazing!! Proud to be a part of the community.

I too had a great time...Like Beav, I was amazed as a Bikini Bait topwater turned into I don't know how many lures, 3 days on the water with some of the best guys around...It was like Christmas...I think my wife thought I was crazy, sitting there laughing out loud at the computer...Anyway thanks to all who donated, organized, and entertained...I can't wait till next year...
