Subject: Plano sizes question?

Hello I think I am going to get rid of my lakewood and such and start to use the plano boxes...not the big one, but the clear smaller ones and use a tackle bag. I was curious what sizes I would need...I am looking at one that can hold 10inch baits...and such do you now the number..mostly cranks and jerkbaits...thanks, ben

Ben, best thing I ever did was get rid of my big boxes and go to planos. I second greybeard get some of the 3730's for bigger baits (jakes, believers , etc) I also like the deep 3730's for my prop type topwaters-once I get a lowrider or similar tuned in, I hate for it to get the tail smashed in the container. I also have a bunch of the 3700's for smaller baits. The 3700's only allow for 1 layer of baits, but they make it easy to find what you're looking for. As far as transporting I carry about thirty 3730's/3700's on one side of my front deck storage. When I fish with someone else I just pack all the boxes in a couple rubbermaid totes. When I have someone with planos with me, I usually plug my livewell from outside of the boat and convert it into dry storage for my partner. .....e-hound
