Anyone going to stick a few tip-up's out with quick strike rigs? Looks like this will be a year it can be done on some lakes.

It was really windy today, so not much ice was made in Oneida. I bet that will change very soon! I have done the tip up/sucker thing a couple times because of Mid November iceup over the years, with two muskies to show for it, both were mid 30" class. Fun, though!

How do you set up a tip-up for musky fishing? I have thought of this before but i am not sure how to do it. It sounds like a lot of fun to catch a musky through the ice. How late into the year is it legal to do this in Wisconsin? Thanks

Use a quick strike rig, and it's legal until the end of November.
