Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | I usually start using stabil this time of year. It shouldn't hurt you at all. What's nice is if you start using it over the last couple times out it's one less thing you have to do to winterize. |

| Get a bottle of "DRY FUEL", it stabalizes the gas and stops water from forming in the tank from evaporation. I've been using it for years. I get it from my Mariner/ Mercury dealer.

Location: Athens, Ohio | since I don't get out that much, I run Stabil all year round, add it with every fill up. This was recommended to me by every outboard mechanic I've used, they say today's fuels will start breaking down within days of entering your gas tank. m |

| Seafoam is also good and probbably does a better job of cleaning the fuel system as well.
add them any time |

Location: Chicago, Beverly | use bombardier 2x4 in every tankfull... very good product made to be used all year round.. just come winter or long periods of non use use winter directions supplied in bottle, the rest of the time use the summer directions.. it cleans and stabilizes the fuel system.. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | You should run Stabil in everything all year round. It will save a lot of money in the long run on engine maintenance. It takes less than 2 weeks for gas to start breaking down. |
