Location: Chicago, Beverly | thought about it for my minn kota...but kept getting told by minn kota repair places not too..they'd never say why exactly besides not made by minn kota and would somehow void warranty..
now if you have a motorguide, you have no worries, I guess they now have a deal with motorguide to be one of their prop suppliers I guess... of course this could have been in the works already when i contacted the minn kota plaes about the props.. | |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | I have looked into these as well. What I don't understand is how a prop could void a warranty. That makes no sense. If anything like this were the case with our big outboards, many of us would lose our warranty as soon as we bolt on a better prop.
I need a spare...I'll probably buy one.
