I want to thank Joe Junion (Jomusky) and Roger Watters (h2os2t) for joining me today for a GREAT trip. I will share a boat with either one of you guys, or both again, ANY time!! I still hope that the boat worked out well enough for you that you would jump in again (can't beat 8 lines at one shot, lol). It was a great day spending time with friends, nice weather (until the boat was out of the water) and some musky action. Joe was on the clock when a beautiful 45 1/2" fish decided to eat. I was on the clock later and lost one.

These two guys pointed out a few people on the water that frequent this board. Just to let those other guys from the board know, I WAS NOT saluting you like Joe and Roger were, LOL. It is a lot of fun when you see others on the water that you know and are able to have fun with while catching fish.

Monday the big boat gets taken in to get winterized.

Not much time left for musky action. We are expecting snow here in Rhinelander this week. How much? Who knows, I just wish that I could get another couple of weeks extra of musky action in.

Good Fishing and stay warm,

Chuck

Well, you probably saw us and did not know it. I think I was the only guy out there wearing blaze orange bibs. If you caught us at the right (wrong) time you would have seen my blaze orange butt sticking up in the air as I was laying across my trimmed up motor unwinding some tangled line. Amazing what can happen when you don't pay attention when you have a good fish on. LOL This took place as Joe battled his fish. A few minutes is all it took and then we were back in business.

We had a good laugh with that one.

Oh yes MuskieE, I believe I remember. I think that Joe said that you were with your dad. I believe his exact comment was, "If it wasn't for his dad, he could not catch fish".

JUST KIDDING!!! He really did not say that, but did point you out and said that he thought that you were with your dad. It is pleasantly surprising how courteous anglers are down there, up there, over there; which ever direction it is from where everyone is from. A few tight quarters at times, but everyone made it in, around and about without a problem.

Would love to see you guys on the water again this fall, but unfortunately I do not think that will happen. 35 degrees, wind, rain and snow here. Not so much for snow, but a few flakes flying around.

Good fishing,

Chuck

It certainly was a pleasure sharing the boat with Roger and Chuck.

Chucks chartering experience was very eviedent when he started setting lines. 4 down lines with musky gear is a real challenge. The gears have been turning on how to accomplish it in my bass boat.

Chuck, I will be going the next 2 weekends if you want to make the drive and give up some time in the woods.

lots of saluting!!!!!!!! I had to laugh when Jon and I in seperate boats for once, saluted eachother while we were both busy with fish in the nets, well mine wasn't in the net exactly, but a couple of doubles going on none the less. things were iffy at first but as the afternoon rolled around, rods were screaming. What a fun/frustrating day!!!!!!!!
I had a handicap-----ADD----AA-----partner in my boat. quite a few lost fish.

It was nice to see alot of familar boats out there. Joe is correct Muskie E would not catch any fish if I did not train him correctly. (Just Kidding) actually he shows the old man a few things. We will be back there Friday and Sat. the colder the better.

I would love to try to get back out yet this year with you Joe, but the woods calls loud. I will be out opening weekend alone and then taking my daughter out with me for her first year in the woods from Thanksgiving to the end. If I get one opening day I will drop you a line and see what we can do.

For the rest that will be chasing musky this weekend, stay warm and be safe.

Ace - Yep will get you some before spring. Got only a few made, seem to have the lexan lipped one dialed in with 2 types of wood. Playing around with metal lips also. It got a 45" muskie and a 30 pound catfish (ya the cat hit the bait not snagged, goofy cat) the week before on the maiden trolling voyage. Joes fish came on a Grandma.

You can't beat those guys for a great time on the water. I only had the chance to fish with Joe one time this year and it was not enough.
