Do we have to build this vegitable jerkbait before or during the outing.

Can I use canned ones..they are neutral bouyant and have more side to side action.[]

Hmmm, lots of technical problems with this challenge: #1 may be a definite odor involved that very possibly will be repulsive. #2 most probably will need to be
a trolling bite, casting for 3 hours may have some deliterious effect on the bait. #3 everybody knows green is a BAD color.

I would suggest you change it to a wooden dowel and one can of spray paint, and you have one hour at lunch to alter the dowel and hang your hooks as you see fit, you can choose your own spray paint

You haven't answered the challunge!!!!!

And I forgot 4-8mm hollow metal beads.

We will make them at the same time. You can do what ever you want for colors but you MUST use a cucumber. Muskies are stupid and won't know the difference. (Right Worrall?)

I am going to kick some "Gopher" Smith tail!

I will be carving mine a little kinda pike shaped with white and green...

This sounds like a great addition to your Musky Nut arsenal, might have a hard time getting people to pay $5 to field test that bugger. []

I'd pay an extra $5 toward the Ashton fund just to watch this challunge. The cuke idea is a bit scary, but at least they're using veggies and not Payday bars! m

What a hoot of a veggie challunge. What will you name your bait? How about "Ezzox Cuke Nuke"? Also, Jason, how do you feel about ending up with the nickname "Cuke"? You could do worse, just ask my friend "One Ball".

Jason...make him give into a zuccini....or better yet a thin summer squash---the light yellow would be a much better color.

If just happened on this thread I would think you guys were flying out from San Francisco for this thing.

SpongeBob....remember to bring your soap on a rope!!

LOL DOC!!!! Do they still make that stuff????? Blast from the past....used to have that in English Leather + British Sterling...maybe Pub, can't remember! Your dental services could be needed to possibly remove teeth or dentures from backsides etc.....you could become rich in one short weekend![] [:0] [:sun:]

Sponge, I was just saying that after last week's rain, my front yard was as wet as a week old cucumber in a woman's prison. Maybe I should change that to "a day old cucumber in a musky challunge". m

Does anybody know the proper placement of a JB weight system in a cucumber????

Appears the "Challunge" will be to make it through the weekend w/ some similance of dignity + perhaps a shred of self respect! I'm grateful the Pay Day is being spared the degredation + humiliation thrust upon the Wisconsin State vegetable....the now famous CUKE! Can't wait to hit Kroger w/ the sponge babe + pass the veggie section....[:sun:]

I heard you had kin down there...Now after that song... I am sure of it.

Does Cady play the banjo??? Is there some kind of inbreeding thing going on here?? This is getting really scary. Everyone just put the cucumbers down and back away from the vegetable bin. Also....there will be no buttering of the cucumbers....yeech!

Not SO Sure I'm Missin Anythin Now,
