Ok I give.

Been seeing it mentioned here.

Sounds like I need to get some.

What the heck is it? Where do you get them?

I can make that thng dance across the top, slow or fast, 1' under, slow or fast, vertical or horizontal, slow or fast, and even work it 5' to 8', slow. Great lure, very versatile.

I guess this question should be for Beav, I have the hawaii's best 60 version of the bait. I know he makes the blanks, are they weighted the same? It sure is a pretty bait.

Just threw one of Beav's Castors today, that K-Bob loaned me, and I gotta say, I was severly impressed! Sadly, he did not have a perka, but, if it looks like a Castor, Joe, you are gonna wanna get one.

Joe, I can send pics.
I started making them too late, but just wait for 2006.
Perkas, only a few Castors, and something new and exciting that you'll be seeing at the muskiefirst booth during the shows......provided I get my butt in gear and get that place built to work in during the winter.

Any new colors or patterns in the works? How about a lighter weighted perka for the top?

I bet you peek at your Christmas presents too. All in due time.
Yes, there will be more colors to choose from. I'm waiting on a delivery of bodies right now.
Lighter? No, not at this time. Heavier? Nope, not getting that either.
I'm one guy who is going to have his hands full trying to get out the 300 that I have on the way. Drilling, weighting, balancing, painting, sealing. adding hardware......there, multiply that by 300, add in the fact that I'm Polish, and it will take lots of effort to get them ready by showtime. I can say the hell with showtime and just put them on tacklefirst and be done with that, but I'm trying to get some ready for the shows.
I also have another project in the works, but I'm not ready to unveil it yet.
So, yes you will get more colors, but no, they won't be floaters. You can work these on top if you want to. I'll reverse the body on some and make them Humpbacks, and they'll come through the water like a snake and won't sink until you let them.
I'll do all that I can.
Still have to make that heated work room in the garage so I can work through the winter.
Your humble servant,
Beav
