I received a package today in the US Mail, and am really happy I did. Fishing the North Country publications by Russ Wayre and Ken Jackson feature lake maps, articles, and detailed information about featured lakes in each book.

Researched fishing articles, Access information, accurate lake maps, the latest fishing presentations, seasonal strategies, and Structure and cover are covered for each lake. I found the books informative, an easy and enjoyable read, and kinda nice looking, too. I now have several winter evenings taken care of this winter, studying some of the waters I need to fish more.

Slamr, Lambeau, and I will be using one of the books this weekend to zero in on the 'skis up north. Great job Russ, these are sweet books.

I have several of those books and they are nice but 10 yrs outdated with innacurate maps. They are good for finding about new waters, then look for more accurate info on those waters.

This set has updated new maps, and all new content. They were copyrighted in 2004. I know several of the lakes in the books, and find the information accurate and updated.

Where can one find these books... Google & Amazon searches only return 9 million other fishing books.

Edit... here is the link I found on Lake Link... http://www.muskyshop.com/modules/cart/products.php/id/1201/print_pa...

Yes, did not mean to say it is the old Fishing Hot Spots books information but the old format style and thouroughness of the said area with updated info. By far the best books I own.
