Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | This fall has produced some really big fish. Does any one else troll 13" grandmas or 14" jakes. I know hooker and wishmaster are "big baits", but does any one else have a secret big bait out there. I fish a small lake and people look at me like I am fishing for sharks. Even other muskie fisherman look at me wierd sometimes. Oh well......

| everyone looks at me weird all the time lol.
just had a dude over to pick some stuff up out of the garage he said " i catch fish that big" referring to my casting lures
i said "welp Frank, i fish for the fish that eat those fish."
he then proceeded to inquire why my net was so large and i explained about the temporary livewell, cpr and most importantly keeping the fishies head underwater when possible....2 days later, i'm daydreaming about taking him and his boy out for a muskie spin sometime next year. thats what its all about fellas, that's what its all about.
back to the original topic
i've trolled my 13" grannies around and i have a legend perch. not too long b4 i get a wishmaster i suppose....guess i better sell a guitar for that one though

| HR Johnny and I are Co Chairs of the big bait club. 13 inch Grandmas, 14 inch Jakes, 13 inch Believers, 15 inch custom bucktails, 15 Franky Bait, 13 inch Legend Plows, 14 inch Talonz Deep Threat, and the list goes on. Muskie Fool is making me a 22 inch Mother May Eye as we speak! No lure is too big, ask any of us in the big bait club.
My three biggest muskies to date have come on the same Legend Plow...I love that lure |

Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | I use some 13 inch that I make and a couple 13 Grandmas but I don't think my rigs will hold anything bigger.
In my shop I have re-painted some awful big lures for people. The biggest so far ( about five years ago ) were three Legend XL's and they were a whopping 24 inches long. I had a time with them. I can't imagine what the fishing rigs would be like to use those.

Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | Yes big baits do produce big fish.I have caught pike on everthing from 13"Grandma's to 18" Wishmaster Big Wish and 24"Ukko Wobblers. This 43.75" 24lb 6oz pike fell to a 18" Wishmaster Big Wish. While i looked into joining the big bait club with Dadson and muskyboy, the membership dues were outrageous!!The bottom picture shows that small fish will hit giant baits too.In this case it was a 38" pike on a 24" Ukko Wobbler.
