Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | How did the Muskies treat you this weekend? I spent the weekend at the Muskie Symposium, the ONLY place I'd rather be this time of year other than hunting or fishing.
How'd you do? |

Suckers for 4 days -$30.00
Bulldog- $13.49

Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | After fishing all day in the river, One musky came up to the surface to get a closer look at the custom Crane 208 I was just barely moving on the surface then submerged again and I never saw another fish after that. What I really think was the musky pretended to look at the bait but was really trying to see who was throwing it I really believe that they have been checking me out and agitating me this whole year.

Location: Madison, WI | Sunday pewaukee, 2 follows.... One of the follows was chasing my bait for at least 45 seconds..... But he kept missing!!! I tried everything, figure 8 circles, running around the boat... But still a nice day to be on the water. |

Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | 37 1/2" while fishing with Slimm on a sucker. Lost one with Slimm on a sucker. Slimm had 3 follow to the boat on Bull Dawgs. This was all on a small Rhinelander area lake.
Sunday, I lost one on a Slammer on my 3rd cast. Had 2 suckers scaled and filleted. Had 2 others take swipes at jerk baits, one in the mid 30's and one in the low 40's. This was on the mighty Three Lakes Chain.
All in all, a fun and enjoyable weekend.

Location: Ogden, Ut | No fishing on Saturday, but I tried to duplicate the success Nik and I had on Thusday. I fished for about 3 1/2 hours Sunday morning w/o getting a hit. I guess I had too much time...
Then we had my other son's (Dane) birthday party (he's 2 now), so the weekend was nice, just in a different and non-muskie sort of a way

I'm sure no one will believe this but yep, it happened this weekend. My uncle, girlfriend and I were fishing a bay right before dark where we never seen a fish before and now we know why. I hooked up and had her up to the boat parallel before she dove and rolled and seperated from the bait. We knew it was huge ridicoulsly huge, her tail was by the start of the steering counsel and the head almost even with the back casting deck where my uncle stood waiting to net her. And get ready to puke but thats all of a 60" stick, I'm sick right now even typing this. 50's have been caught in this lake not by me but the few I've talked to havent seen them in there that big. It's with in an hour of Eau Claire thats all I'm saying, sorry. No other women could ever break my heart that much. After church on sunday my mom talked to an old couple who we had no idea lived on that lake but went to our church and he said that a couple fish that size have been seen out there maybe the same one who knows. So I know wisconsin can produce monsters, always did, just confirmed in my mind.

Location: Duluth, MN - Superior, WI | Saturday I saw 13 or 15 fish in the 43”- 46” 3 in the upper 40’s. Approximately 9:00 AM I caught a fat 45” on the TY-JACK. At about 5:00 PM it went dead calm and in about a ¼ mile spot I guesstimate I seen or had on 7 fish. I caught a 48” on a bulldog lost one about 48” at the boat trying to land it myself. I seen something I know I will never in my lifetime again. I seen a big fish eat my Bulldog and another try and take it from it and cut my line.
Sunday the cold front shut them off. I saw 3 all day.

Location: Mpls, MN | Fished Miltona Saturday with Joe...
We saw one on a purple eagle tail. She spooked at the boat when I started the figure 8. Leaned a little to start the figure 8 and she saw me. Water was clear as heck. As Joe said it was a Chamber of Commerce Meet and Greet Day. She came out, meet us, greeted us and adios.
Pretty much zero green veg left that we could see. Trolled a lot too and not one hit. Saw lots of water too. And lots of sky and that's about it. But still fun. Seems like a tough lake with zero weeds left. Water was 50-51.
Nice fish Cory.

Location: oswego, il | We boated 6 fish, had action from about 25 fish for the weekend. Lost several fish, two were well into their 40's. 11 of the 12 fish we seen on saturday smacked the bait. Learned a very valuable lesson on sunday, can't wait to utilize it more this fall.

Location: Downers Grove, IL | Joel and I fished the IMTT on Saturday and had a double header with two shorties. Unfortunately the pictures need to be developed. We both had the pleasure of seeing a 50"er behind our sucker on Saturday as well. All the fish had to do was open its mouth and eat the fricken thing! We fished on Sunday and had some nice action on suckers and bulldawgs. We were able to boat a 39.5 and 40.5 and missed a nice fish on the meat. Great weekend overall.

| Re Tolden's fish.
I thought it might be a tiger too but the tail fin has very sharp points. I think it is just a very nicely marked muskie

Location: Ogden, Ut | What a nice batch of fish. Congrats to all!
Re: Tolden's fish - based on that one picture, I would just about bet my next couple of paychecks that it's a tiger.
Granted, one lobe of the tail does appear pointed, however when the tail fin is hanging relaxed like that, they often appear rather pointed; I would hazard a guess that if laid on a bump board and slightly fanned out, it would be more rounded.

| Tiger,
At first we were sure either but then on examining it she was. This fish also did not have a single mark on it. The cleanest fish I have everseen and my first Tiger. The Chip has given up alot of tigers this year. So too Bytor, yes it was a chip tiger.
Thinking I might get a replica of this girl. Not sure though.

Location: Chicago | Had a great week in Rhinelander. Been very busy since returning thus the late report. Below is a pic of a 47" caught on the trip. I understand it is fall, with water temps in the 46-48 degree range, however this fish was in 2' of water and caught on a 4" tube jig. I was alone therefore the picture in the water.
