was wondering what the water temps are in the vilas co area. It seems like the cisco runs will be a little later this year. I do very well durning this time at dusk and early evening.

Between last Friday and Monday I was getting readings on most lakes of about 51 degrees. They've probably dropped a few degrees over the last couple days with cool evening temps. I saw a few balls of baitfish that were probably ciscoes suspended out in deep water but haven't seen any movement toward shore just yet. I believe spawning usually gets triggered in the low 40's.
