Who make the bass pro reels that are the Pete Maina series? They look like a gold Pfleuger to me. Any ideas?

Location: Kildeer, IL		I was told by a guy at BPS that they were Pfleuger.

I don't know who makes them, but I've had some for 5 years now and never had a problem.

setme is right. Pfleuger makes them.

FYI....They are made by Okuma. Nice solid reels.

Location: Kildeer, IL		We could all be wrong. Here is a link to Pete answering this question. It sounds like he is beating around the bush. I don't really care. I own two, and they are great reels. They have performed better than my Calcutta.
