Hmmm, interesting. I saw your ditch picture and it seemed rather shallow. What happens to it if the fire goes out? I know what your average frost line is up there...

Those big green pipes are insulation covers for the lines. One actually can leave them above ground for a season if done during the winter.

just a question:
so why is it that this being non-related to musky issues isn't deleted like other posts that happen to be of someone elses interests.

Because this is the Hideout, sir, where folks from all over the country come and stay as MuskieFIRST's guests. Many of the regular MuskieFIRST folks here have stayed at the Hideout and are interested in the project as it progresses. If you are ever in the Rhinelander area you are welcome to stay here as well, as long as you don't mind a beer by the fire ring and venison on the grill...

Besides, this project is what kept me off the water for two weekends.

Hey, does that Patriot still float?
(That boat is insanely cool!) Great looking improvements, Steve.

Sweet, Steve, I've seen those around our area, too, looks like a great set up. We have a woodburner inside and the dust, wood debris, and occasional smoke are drawbacks. With record heating bills predicted for this winter, you got this just in time.

I'd be interested in looking at installing one of these, if the company has a website please either post or PM the link to me.

And yes, dogboy, the Hideout is one of the most musky-related items on this board! (One of the finest muskie spinnerbait makers in the US lives next door!) I cannot thank you enough for your hospitality last year, a real lifetime memory. m

I for one look forward to spending some time at the hideout, if I can ever find the time to get there

sorry, just a Question. you seem to be a very generous gentlemen when it comes to your muskie companions and sharing information. no implications of foul mouthing, just wondering. have seen a lot of things deleted on here that didn't seem all that off the wall.
fish on.

No worries, sir. The invitation stands. By the way, look in the recycle bin for most of the off topic threads...
