x15 problems

Location: W. PA.		The gps on my x15 is acting up. It always shows me 100-200 yards north of my actual position and it isn't showing my waypoints. I called Lowrance and got some lady who could only tell me to do a hard reset ( which I had already done) or send it in and they will charge me $169 to fix it! Any ideas?

When you talked to the lady at Lowrance did she seem to know what the problem is? And did she know if it was a problem due to poor care of the unit or was it something that should have not gone wrong? One thing I know about Lowrance is that they have absolutely great customer service. Have heard no complaints and quick service.
