Location: Neenah, WI | I recently purchased a Navionics Hot Map-Gold that said it was compatible with my 480 FishElite. I would put the chip in the MMC slot on the GPS and the Unit would Turn Off. Called Reed's and they said that the gold chip will not work in the Fish elite 480. I called LEI and told them of the problem and within 3 days I was sent a software update for my GPS / Sonar Fish Elite 480. I downloaded the the software and the unit is now working great. Great Service - LEI Rocks.
