| I know there's lots of good fish in the Madison lakes, but where do you think I should fish if I want a fish over 50" this fall? |

| Well, I doubt you'll find a 50 on the Madison chain, but Pewaukee is cranking out 50" + fish on a regular basis. Okauchee is as well. There are actually a few 50's coming out of the Fox Chain in IL, too, but they're REALLY skinny.
'course a skinny 50 is better than none at all... |

| I saw pictures of a few 4 footers that a friend caught on Rapalas this spring fishing for walleyes below a dam on the Wisconsin River. I never bothered to check it out during the summer, but perhaps this fall.
I know there are guys fishing the river, but you never see any reports.
That makes me even more curious. |

Location: Madtown, WI | Yeah...stay away from the Madison Chain for a 50... 
Honestly, this fishery is JUST now maturing to where big fish are showing up on a more consistant basis. Lot of 48's seen, few caught. I personally have seen a 52 incher and I know of a few 50 inchers caught. I for one am in search for one this fall. BUT, I would give pewaukee or ochauchee (spell?) for the best shot at landing one. Mike has foundled his share of Pewaukee 50's and knows how to put them in the boat....well worth the money.

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Personally, I love Pewaukee because it's fairly simple to fish, but I'd hit Okauchee. It too has put out some true monsters this season, including the WMT 50" pool winner at 51.25"

You WILL learn a ton from him. Not sure if he has any openings left for this year as he books up pretty well for the entire season.
