| Just got back from Vilas......no good.
Saw a boat in the motel parking lot that said "Team Twitcher".
I said to the guy, "The only twitcher that I know of is the TR Twitcher."
"That's me."
"I'm Beaver!"
"You're kidding."
And so the chat started..........I think I did most of the chatting.
We compared lures and stories and stories about lures....
Oh yeah, he and his partner were leading Paul's Pro-Am after day one. The only team to double.
So, did he hang on to win it?
It was great getting to meet him.

Location: oswego, il | Way cool. I first met Al Warner aka esox maniac at the one and olny pewaukee lake musky swap meet. Later that year, I ran into him again at the heckels restaurant in eau claire and to our amazment, neither of us were waiting tables. Then it turns out I am trying to get zalts into tackle shops and a friend of his was too and Al Hooked us up. |
