Subject: LOOKING FOR LAKES


WHAT LAKES ARE STILL OPEN FOR BOAT FISHING AFTER DUCK SEASON STARTS IN ILLINOIS THAT HAVE A MUSKIE POPULATION? ALL I KNOW OF IS LAKE STOREY

Shelbyville,Kinkaid,Otter,etc. I don't know where you are from, but Illinois has three zones with different seasons. You can't fish within 150 yards of a blind that is being used. Remember to take de-icer with you becouse the hunters get on the water first and the ramps will have ice in cold weather. Later

DOES SHABBONA HAVE A DUCK SEASON RESTRICTION OR IS IT OPEN TO FISHING? I DON'T THINK ANY LAKES IN CENTRAL ILL ARE OPEN EXCEPT LAKE STOREY

I am pretty sure I have fished Shabbona during duck season. 150 yards from blinds is the only restriction. I believe. Ask here ..

Evergreen is a 10hp lake, I don't think it has any other restrictions other than that.
